We represent clients in their defences or pleas of mitigation in respect of various types of criminal offences, including charges laid by the police, ICAC, Immigration Department, Customs and Excise Department, Securities and Futures Commission and so forth. We also represent clients to attend hearings and trials held in magistrates’ courts and the District Court. We act for clients in bail applications, negotiations with prosecution for dismissal of charges, amendment of charges and binding-over orders. We handle appeals and reviews in relation to conviction and/or sentence. We also instruct barristers to appear in the High Court on behalf of clients in their defences or pleas of mitigation. We have extensive experience in handling appeals in Court of First Instance, Court of Appeal and Court of Final Appeal. Some of our lawyers are also approved lawyers registered in the Legal Aid Panel.

Our scope of services in this practice area mainly include:
